Integration and data migration
Use the ‘Product barcodes’ data entity for integrating barcode data with other systems or for data migration purposes.
Item barcode population
To enable automatic population of item barcodes, activate the parameter Populate item barcodes from product barcodes in Inventory parameters form (Inventory management \ Setup \ Inventory parameters, Advanced tab)
As this option is legal entity specific, you can enable it for every target legal entity independently.
Notes: 1. Populating of item barcodes works during the adding of the product barcode 2. Bar code setup from commerce hierarchy is used during the item item barcode creation
