# Overview

Advanced Suite — our ISV solution for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations: automated testing, workflow approvals on the phone, barcode scanning and database monitoring, inside D365.

**Advanced Suite** is an ISV solution by Neptune Tech for **Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations**. It's installed as one deployable package and adds tools that consultants, approvers, warehouse users and system administrators use directly in D365 — no separate application to run, no local infrastructure.

## What's included

| Module                                                                | What it does                                                                                                                                                             |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| [**Application testing**](/application-testing/overview.md) | Author and run automated end-to-end acceptance and regression tests from inside D365, executed in the cloud — with live video of every run and test cases created by AI. |
| [**Mobile workspace**](/mobile-workspace/overview.md) | Approve, reject and delegate D365 workflow work items on your phone with the Dynamics Express app — in real time, and offline too. |
| [**Barcode management**](/advanced-suite/barcode-management.md) | Shared product barcodes across legal entities, a default barcode per product, and scanning of products and documents straight into D365 forms. |
| [**System administration**](/advanced-suite/system-administration.md) | Database monitoring inside D365 — active and blocking sessions, expensive queries, locks — and easy setup of the Database log, without SQL Server access. |

## Getting it

1. **Download** the deployment package for your D365 version from [Releases](/advanced-suite/releases.md) — each release has one package per Dynamics 365 version in service.
2. **Install** it like any ISV package: [Install ISV Package](/application-testing/getting-started/install-the-isv-package.md).
3. **Activate** the licenses of the modules you use: [Activate license](/application-testing/getting-started/activate-a-license.md). Some features, like the database session monitoring, are free.

{% hint style="info" %}
Every release is deployed to our own sandbox before it's published, and is built for each Dynamics 365 version that Microsoft still services.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://www.neptune.tech/advanced-suite/overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
